Created for Frozen People by the Oulu-based Portaali collective and invited artists, kryoP̶۝̶RTAALI is a collaborative art installation and chillout spot.

The prefix kryo- comes from Greek κρύος, meaning ”icy cold”. The participating artists explore the theme through various media and views. Photographs, video works, soundscapes and installations drift from tangible coldness to icy sounds, from frozen memories to chilling politics, from the arctic everyday to frosty phantasm.

After the festival kryoP̶۝̶RTAALI stays open until 8.3. and has free entry.
