Make an appointment with a doctor or nurse
Non-urgent health care services include for example health advice, wound care, suture removal and vaccinations. A follow-up appointment concerning asthma, diabetes, rheumatism or cardiac diceases can be also booked to a nurse. If you need a medical certificate required by law, please make an non-urgent appointment to the health care centre.

Book an appointment at the maternity and child health clinic
- Maternity clinics provide follow up of pregnancy as well as monitoring of health and wellbeing of the mother during pregnancy. Contact your local maternity clinic when you discover that you are pregnant. At the maternity clinic appointment, you will be examined, the wellbeing of the featus is monitored and both your the physical and mental wellbeing is taken care of.
- The child health clinic monitors the child’s health, growth and development. The child receives the vaccinations included in the vaccination programme at the child health clinic. The child health clinic also provides support for matters related to parenthood and parents’ relationship.
Both parents are welcome to all maternity and child health clinic visits.
